Carley's First Sentence on the Phone

I think Carley's starting to understand the idea of the phone.  When I call from work to talk to her she'll say hello and then babble away.  Today when I asked her how she was she said, "I wake up".  Blain said she had just woken up from her nap.  Obviously she's a gifted genius child

Such a grown up girl!

Carley had her 18 month checkup this morning.  She is now officially 25 lbs and 31.5 inches tall.  Not only is she walking but half the time she's running.  I'm not sure how many words she's saying because she's adding new ones every day.  For some unknown reason "two" and "shoe" are her favorite words to say. 

Last week we started her back in daycare 2 days a week.  I thought she would be traumatized because it's been about a year since she was in daycare but she did great.  She is a happy, outgoing little girl and a joy to be with.  I feel so lucky and blessed that I get to be her mom.

Baseball

Sam and Lindsey are in a baseball league for a few weeks this summer. The kids playing baseball are so cute but I have to admit it gets a little bit scary for the bystanders when they all are practicing throwing the baseball.
